Faber Group develops framework for Leadership & Talent Development Excellence
At Faber Group, we recognize that a key factor for our success and for carrying impact, is the strength of our leadership. Therefore, we are currently developing a leadership framework which will serve as guidance for developing our existing talents, attracting new talent, and to ensure that our management sets the standard as role models in leadership that aligns with the DNA of Faber Group.
‘Leadership framework’ We've recently interviewed our CEO and CFO, as well as senior leaders from all our divisions, about leadership, our growth ambition and the context in which we work. Based on the input we received, we’ve created a ‘Leadership framework’. Jolien Dirne, HR Director Faber Group: “The framework defines the leadership dimensions & behaviours that are making the difference within Faber Group. These dimensions and behaviours are: develop self & others, connection, care, ownership and courage. They will be used to determine the strengths of our leadership team & talents and also to indicate where development is needed.
Talent development – building on Existing Talent “Our first priority is to invest in talents that already exist within Faber Group,” says Jolien. “Our talents possess further potential waiting to be unlocked. By providing them with the necessary tools, resources, and opportunities for growth, we want to create a pipeline of capable leaders and executives who are deeply rooted in the values and vision of our organization. Through different leadership development initiatives, such as mentorship programs, leadership training workshops, and stretch assignments, we will empower our existing talents to take on increasingly challenging roles and responsibilities within Faber Group”.
Attracting External Talent Jolien: “Whilst internal development is crucial, we also recognize the value of fresh perspectives and diverse experiences. To expand our talent pool, we will actively recruit high-calibre individuals from outside the organization who embody the qualities and values that fit with Faber Group. Through targeted recruitment strategies, competitive compensation packages and a strong employer brand, we will position ourselves as an employer of choice for top talent in the industry. By welcoming new voices and ideas into our company, we will enrich our collective expertise and drive innovation across all levels of the organization. Therefore, we will look more closely into profiles who fit our Faber Group leadership framework and who can be a role model for these behaviours”.
