Faber Group and Bright Technology Ventures join forces!
Davy Baars, CEO Bright Technology Ventures
Faber Group has taken a strategic share in Bright Technology Ventures (BTV), which is the parent company of a number of tech companies, including Connected Load Carrier (CLC). You might have heard of Connected Load Carrier, as we used to have a share in them and worked together in the development of connected pallets for IPP and PRS.
Ingrid Faber: “We have chosen to exchange our share in Connected Load Carrier with a share in their parent company, Bright Technology Ventures, as we can add much more value to each other on a strategic level. Also commercially our proposition, products and network can strengthen each other big time and offer many opportunities. Especially with our focus on digitalization and our ambition to move from a load carrier to a data driven carrier, I’m glad we now partner with an organization which is digital by DNA. In our collaboration with Connected Load Carrier so far, we also learnt that there is a good cultural fit between the two organizations and I’m convinced both teams can pick the fruits of this collaboration”.
In the coming period, we will further shape the ways-of-working together to seize opportunities beyond just connected pallets. Our Chief Digital Officer, Andrew Berkhout, will be involved as a board member of BTV, and Stefan Herbergs, our Business Development Director, will play a key role as the commercial link between Faber Group and BTV. Soon, we will extend the mutual contacts also within the divisions.
Bright Technology Ventures was founded in 2018 and brings together a team of over 50 seasoned professionals, led by CEO Davy Baars. Their integrity, experience, and commitment to excellence have cemented their reputation as a reliable technology partner. The operating companies of BTV are Connected Load Carrier, MobioT, Dutch IoT Solutions, 10G Network and The IoT Provider. Together, they offer a wide portfolio in innovative solutions in IoT-hardware, connectivity, traceability, insights and data services.
